Brazil-contract secured for Siem Atlas and Siem Giant
Total E&P do Brazil has awarded Siem Offshore’s platform supply vessels «Siem Atlas» and «Siem Giant» a two-year contract.
Both vessels started the new contract September 2020 in direct continuation of a contract awarded in 2018. The extensions will secure work until October 2021, with options until the end of 2022.
– We are very happy to be able to continue our offshore services to Total in Brazil. Siem Offshore regards the contract extension as a sign of trust, says CEO Bernt Omdal.
Both Siem Atlas and Siem Giant are platform supply vessels with a dwt. of 4700 tonnes and 1000 m2 cargo deck. They were built in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
